Your privacy is important to us. Our privacy policy (the “Findemm Privacy Policy”) explains the information we collect, how we use and share it, how to manage your privacy controls and your rights in connection with our websites and the related mobile applications and services (collectively, the “Services”).
Findemm collects data from you, through our interactions with you and through our products. You provide some of this data directly, and we get some of it by collecting data about your interactions, use, and experiences with our products. The data we collect depends on the context of your interactions with Findemm and the choices you make, including your privacy settings and the products and features you use.
We also obtain data about you from third parties. Many of our products require some personal data to provide you with a service. If you choose not to provide data -required to provide you with a product or feature, you cannot use that product or feature. Likewise, where we need to collect personal data by law or to enter into or carry out a contract with you, and you do not provide the data, we will not be able to enter into the contract; or if this relates to an existing product you are using, we may have to suspend or cancel it. We will notify you if this is the case at the time.
Where providing the data is optional, and you choose not to share personal data, features like personalisation that use such data will not work for you.
The data we collect can include the following.
We collect basic account information such as your name, email address, phone number, username and password that helps secure and provide you with access to our Services. In addition to user account credentials, we collect emergency contact information.
When you place an order for Findemm or upgrade to a higher subscription, you’ll need to provide an payment information. Any payment information provided is processed by the relevant billing and/or payment processor. We also collect information such as which version of the product or subscription service you are using, the date and time that you activated your account, the duration of your subscription, the data related to any subscription cancellation request, and any in-app purchases you may make.
Users may provide and authorize the app to collect vital function data, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation levels, body temperature. Vital function data is monitored to ensure the user’s well-being. In emergency situations, abnormal vital signs can trigger alerts, prompting immediate assistance. Long-term data may also be used for health analysis and trend monitoring to provide users with insights into their well-being.
Findemm uses real-time location tracking data via BLE to track the user’s precise location, both indoors and outdoors. Location data is used for emergency response, such as sending help to the user’s exact location when they trigger an SOS signal. It is also used to provide location-based services. The app collects data when the user activates the SOS button to signal an emergency.
We collect data from your browser, computer, or mobile device, which provides us with technical information when you access or use the Services. This technical information includes device and network data, cookies, log files and analytics information.
We collect and process data related to the type of wearable device, BLE signal strength and quality, device identifiers (like serial number or MAC address) and firmware and software version of the device.
The App requires access to your device’s camera to scan QR codes, allowing users to retrieve device MAC addresses instead of manually entering them.
The app may collect data on how users interact with the application, including the frequency of app usage and specific features accessed. Analysing app usage patterns helps improve the app’s performance and user interface. It can also inform decisions on future updates and feature enhancements.
Data related to app errors, crashes, or malfunctions may be collected. This information is used to identify and fix bugs and improve the stability of the app, ensuring a more reliable user experience.
The Services use log files. The information stored in those files includes IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. This information is used to analyse trends, administer, protect, and secure the Services, track user movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information (e.g., country residence) for aggregate use. IP addresses may be linked to session IDs, athlete IDs and device identifiers.
Compliance and security-related data play a crucial role in Findemm. We implement technical, physical, and organizational measures and controls to safeguard and protect the transmission and storage of the data we collect. We employ reasonable protections for your information that are appropriate to its sensitivity. Our security features and products can disrupt the operation of malicious software and notify users if malicious software is found on their devices.

We share your personal data with your consent or to complete any transaction or provide any product you have requested or authorised. We do not sell your personal data. We will not disclose your personal information to independent third parties other than in the circumstances discussed in this Privacy Policy without your prior consent. We may also use and disclose your information for our protection and the protection of others to prevent fraud, misappropriation, infringements, identity theft, and other illegal activities and misuse of our Products and Services.
We have implemented appropriate standards to reduce the risk of unauthorized or unlawful access of your personal information. No security system is impenetrable, and we cannot absolutely guarantee the security of our systems and your information.
We will never send you unsolicited messages or contact you by phone requesting sensitive information. This may include account ID, password, payment, or national ID numbers. Please note that e-mails and other communications you send to us are not encrypted, and we strongly advise you not to share any sensitive information through these means.
If any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify the impacted individuals and take steps in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.
You are responsible for the secrecy of your password and ensuring the email address associated with your account(s) is accurate. We use your email address to contact you about service updates, changes to our policies, and account activities such as requests for your information. We recommend using a strong password unique to this service. If you believe your account has been compromised, change your password immediately via the applicable app or website.
We retain your personal data only for as long as you use Findemm or as otherwise necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected, to resolve disputes, establish legal defences, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business interests, enforce our agreements, and to comply with applicable laws. Our retention is based upon the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the purposes for which we process the information, applicable legal requirements, and our legitimate interests. The purposes for which we process information may dictate different retention periods for the same types of information.
We may update this policy periodically, so please review it frequently. We’ll notify you of material changes thirty days before they go into effect. If we are required by applicable data protection laws to give you enhanced notice or seek out consent to any such changes, we will do so. Otherwise, changes to this policy will be effective when posted.
If you object to any of the changes to this Privacy Policy, you must cease using Findemm, and may request us to erase your personal information. Any information that is collected through your use of our products or services is covered by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected.
